Gujarat Congress leader arrested for posting morphed objectionable photos of Ayodhya Temple priest

Ahmedabad (Gujarat) – Ahmedabad Police have arrested Congress leader Hitendra Pithadia for posting morphed and obscene photographs of Mohit Pandey, the newly appointed priest of the grand temple of Shri Ramlalla being built in Ayodhya, and for hurting the religious sentiments of Hindus by making hateful statements against the priest.

Hitendra Pithadia is the President of Scheduled Caste Alliance of Gujarat Congress and is close to MLA Jignesh Mevani. He posted a photograph on X showing a man in an indecent position with a woman. The person in the photo has applied tilak and sandalwood on their forehead. Hitendra Pithadia claimed that this could be Mohit Pandey, the newly appointed priest of Ram Temple because, in the picture that came out, the latter had also applied tilak and sandalwood on his forehead.

Pithadia later deleted the post due to strong backlash on social media. Hindus demanded that Pithadia had hurt their faith and that he should be arrested. Following this, Ahmedabad Police registered a case against Hitendra Pithadia and arrested him. The Police are investigating further in this case.

Editorial Perspective

This shows extreme hatred of Congress towards Hindus. Congress leaders show such audacity only about Hindus because Hindus are tolerant. Needless to say, what would have happened to the Congressmen if they had shown such an audacity with other sects !
