Do not fall victim to the temptations and give up Hindu Dharma : Actress Malvika Avinash

Putturu (Karnataka) – Young women who abandon their Dharma and convert to Islam because of Love Jihad should first think, ‘What are we missing ?’ Actress and BJP leader Malvika Avinash appealed – ‘Don’t become prey of the temptations and give up Hindu Dharma’. She was speaking at the ‘Putturu District Mahila Sammelna’ at Tenkil.

She further said,

• Young women converted through Love Jihad should think seriously about their future. In Hindu Dharma there is a system called ‘One wife’. Women have equal rights with their husbands; but polygamy is practiced in Islam.
• A Hindu woman who marries a man from another religion loses her equal rights. Not only this, but polygamy forces her to live a solitary and lonely life.
• ‘I will love you only if you accept Islam,’ says the youth. What kind of love is this ? Every young woman should understand the underlying meaning of this.
• There is no male-female distinction in Indian philosophy since Vedic times. Hindu Dharma was not reformed by others. On the contrary, the people of Dharma has improved society. Hindu Dharma does not aim to achieve equality by destroying culture and traditions.
