I recently read the text “Yogeshwar Shrikrushna” written by Mr Durgesh Parulkar. Since this text is the representation of Mr Durgesh Parulkar’s utmost devotion towards Dharma, it enchanted me to such extent that I did not feel like stop reading ! For the first time, I have read such an elaborative and informative text about Bhagwan Shrikrushna. I learnt various real life stories of Shrikrushna. There are many other texts available elsewhere which provide such stories, but this text makes it very easy to understand what lesson should be learnt from each narration. The special feature of this text is that even though it is filled with so much knowledge and information, it can be easily comprehended. The fragrance of Mr Parulkar’s Shrikrushnabhakti kept flowing because of which I experienced Bhavjagruti many times while reading this text. Any controversies raised against Shrikrushna have been dealt with very efficiently by Mr Parulkar. It is as if he is giving us a message which says, “Just the practice of devotion towards the Upasyadevata by the devotees of Shrikrushna is simply not enough. They must possess such warrior attitude and piety towards Dharma that they become capable of countering anyone who dares to question the Dharmik beliefs.”
This is why this text has taken the character description of Shrikrushna to completion. I’m sure reading this text will strengthen the faith and devotion of all the seekers and devotees.
This text is a ‘must read’. It is a request to the readers to give your feedback via post or e-mail at the address of the publisher.
It is a humble prayer at the feet of our Guru that may Mr Parulkar continue to perform the seva which creates awareness about Dharma and its protection.

A guide for those stuck in the worldly life – Durgesh Parulkar, a senior writer and lecturer
Mr Durgesh Parulkar
Shrikrushna is permanently in our minds in the form of Bhagawan. Shrikrushna dedicated his whole life to change the cultural, spiritual and social fields for the betterment of people and hence, can he be addressed as just ‘Bhagawan’ ? According to Swatantryaveer Sawarkar, Shriram and Shrikrushna are the Rashtrapurush. Ramayan and Mahabharat are our historical texts. Bhagawan Shrikrushna teaches us to never accept defeat in the face of difficulty and to never stop trying. Lokmanya Tilak and Swatantryaveer Sawarkar were of the belief that to understand Shrikrushna one must do things which are correct and useful for the justice, strategy and truth. For this we have to think in the subtle (Sukshma). We should behave with others the way they behave with us. Our life includes two aspects, i.e. worldly and spiritual. Shrikrushna’s way of living teaches us that while living the worldly as well as the spiritual life, one must strike a perfect balance between the both.
Shrikrushna prepared Arjun for war by giving him the knowledge; but never once He insisted Arjun. He just ensured that Arjun understood everything on a conceptual, emotional and intellectual level and only then did Arjun act accordingly. Sometimes we lose ourselves in the worldly life, but at that time it is the Bhagawadgeeta that guides us.
