India deploys S-400 missile squadron on its Pakistan and China borders

New Delhi – India has deployed on its Pakistan and China border’s S-400 air defence missile squadrons. 2 units on the China border, and 1 unit on the Pakistan border. These air defence missile squadrons have been bought from Russia.

India has signed contract for 5 S-400 air defence missile squadrons. They cost Rs 35,000 crore. Russia has to still deliver 2 more units. The S-400 air defence system identifies missiles, rockets, drones, and fighter planes that are 400 kilometres away and destroy them. This equipment can work in temperatures in the range of -50-70 degrees Celsius. This equipment is used in the Russian-Ukraine war.
