Sonia Gandhi alleges : Israel taking revenge on innocent people

New Delhi – Sonia Gandhi, the former President of Congress has written an article on the Israel-Hamas war, which was published in the daily newspaper The Hindu, wherein she referred to Hamas’ attack on Israel, on the 7th of October 2023, as inhuman. In these attacks, more than a thousand civilians were killed. It was destructive for Israel, she has written. She has also criticised the Israeli attacks as revenge on innocent civilians.

Sonia Gandhi stated in the article that Israel is now using all its strength and taking revenge on helpless, innocent people. The most powerful weapons in the world are being used against children, women, and men. Those, who were not involved in the attack by Hamas, were killed. The hospitals have no place to attend to the people. Cutting off the water, food, and power supply of the Palestinian people is like a mass punishment. The Israeli Government is misconstruing the actions of Hamas as the actions of the Palestinian people, which is very wrong. Israel is destroying the people of Gaza to eradicate Hamas.

• In 1989, jihadi terrorists killed thousands of innocent Hindus in Kashmir and displaced 4.5 lakh Hindus. Even today, jihadi terrorists are killing innocent Hindus through bomb blasts, riots, murders, etc. Sonia Gandhi, however, never felt like writing an article about jihadi terrorists taking revenge on innocent Hindus.

• Israel is taking action against Hamas terrorists and not against innocent people. In this activity, innocent people are getting killed because they are being used as human shields by Hamas. Sonia Gandhi should question Hamas for it.
