Washington (USA) – Due to the continuous attacks on US soldiers in Iraq and Syria, the US has destroyed two Iran-linked military sites in Syria with airstrikes. These were the sites of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and Iran-supportive groups.

US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin said on 26th October that the US does not want any conflict; but Iran-supported groups attacked the US soldiers. It will not be tolerated. It should be stopped. Iran wants to hide its involvement in these attacks on US forces; but we will not leave them. If these Iran-supported groups continue to attack, we will not hesitate to take further steps to protect our people, he warned.
Austin said that the groups that attack US soldiers are different. It has nothing to do with the ongoing Israel-Hamas war. This will not change the US’ role in the Israel-Hamas war.
