Beijing – China, which was supporting Palestine so far, now stated that Israel had the right to protect itself. China has not protested against the inhuman behaviour of Hamas. Israel’s Foreign Minister Eli Cohen had a telephone conversation with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang. Thereafter China’s media published the above news. Wang said every nation had the right to protect itself, while at the same time following human laws and norms regarding the protection of the citizens.
