Indigenous INS Imphal warship delivered 4 months ahead of schedule to the Indian Navy

Mumbai – A Third stealth warship armed with a guided missile destroyer, the ‘INS Imphal,’ was handed over to the Navy. It is a powerful indigenous warship. The work of this warship was completed 4 months ahead of schedule. This warship is armed with surface-to-surface supersonic ‘Brahmos missiles’ and Barak-8 Medium Range Surface Air Missiles. This warship has been built by Mazgao Dock ship-builders Ltd.’ of the Defence Ministry in Mumbai. ‘Imphal’ is the first warship of the Navy, which has accommodation for women officers and sailors. 312 personnel can be accommodated on this warship.
