Decision of the Kerala private Company supplying uniforms for the Israeli Police

Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala) – A company Maryan Apparel Private Ltd based in Kannur Kerala has been signing contract with Israeli Police to stitch their uniforms for past 8 years. Now the company is saying, ‘Henceforth, we will not take contract for stitching uniforms for the Israeli Police. Till Israel stops attacking Gaza we will not sign any new contract to supply uniforms for the Israeli Police.’ This company has taken this decision because of the attack on a hospital in Gaza.

Thomas Olickal, Chief of this company said, ‘Just as we cannot accept Hamas’s role in the death of innocents, similarly we cannot accept this action of Israel in Gaza. Stopping the supply of electricity, water, and food, and bombing a hospital and killing people is not acceptable to us. We feel that the war should be stopped and peace established.’ (Who started this war ? This should also be considered too ! We must realise that it takes two to tango. – Editor)
