Bengaluru (Karnataka) – An order has been issued by the Karnataka Congress Government not to use any chemical dyes including turmeric and kumkum for Ayudha Puja on the upcoming Dussehra in places like State Legislative Assembly and premises. The order states that they should not be used in the office or in the corridor.
Due to the use of chemically harmful dyes in the office and passages during Ayudha Puja, they fall on the carpet and remain stuck for months. It destroys the beauty of carpets.
Even though many orders have been given in this regard in the past, the Government has given this order again due to non-compliance.
