First Minister of Scotland, Humza Yousaf offers refuge to Gaza refugees

Edinburgh (Scotland) – Humza Yousaf, the First Minister of Scotland, has offered to welcome refugees from Gaza and treat wounded civilians in Scottish hospitals if the UK Government sets up a scheme to help those fleeing the war but the people in Scotland are not happy with this. He further said his brother-in-law, who is a doctor in Gaza, has witnessed scenes of horror and carnage.

He said, “We are absolutely clear that the life of a Palestinian is equal to the life of an Israeli. It is right for the world to condemn the actions of Hamas, unequivocally, adding that the Israeli hostages must be released.”

Editorial Perspective

Be it the attack by Islamic State on Syria in 2014-15 or the currently going Israel-Hamas war, the Islamic countries are never interested in welcoming the Muslim refugees. However, the Muslim leaders of a Christian country are welcoming them. Please note this difference.
