
Kochi (Kerala) – ISRO Chief S Somnath said that ISRO’s software faces more than 100 cyber attacks every day. He was speaking at the International Cyber Conference held here.
ISRO is equipped with a robust cyber security network

Somnath added, “The possibility of cyber-attacks is much higher in rocket technology as it uses ultra-modern software and chip-based hardware. ISRO, however, is completely safe from such threats, no matter how serious they are. Our organisation is equipped with a robust cyber security network. It cannot be attacked in any way.

There are several satellites, which help in the daily life of common people. All these are controlled by different types of software. Cyber security is very important to protect all of these. We can face the challenges posed by cyber criminals using Artificial Intelligence (AI) with the same technology. There should be research and hard work towards this end”.
