Bengaluru (Karnataka) – BJP Spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla has tweeted a video of Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s refusal to apply tilak on his forehead. A meeting of the INDIA Bloc was organised in Mumbai a few days ago. At that time, Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress president Mamata Banerjee too had refused to apply tilak during the reception.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah was welcomed at the entrance to a meeting of the working committee of the INDIA Bloc in Hyderabad. At that time, a woman standing with a plate of aarti dressed in traditional clothes tried to apply tilak on Siddaramaiah’s forehead. At that time, he refused to apply tilak and also avoided the aarti. On this occasion, Congress leader Digvijaya Singh was also present beside Siddaramaiah.

BJP Spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla said that Siddaramaiah has refused to apply tilak just like Mamata Banerjee refused. Wearing a skull cap is right while wearing tilak isn’t ?

This alliance has decided to target Hinduism and Sanatan Dharma in a meeting in Mumbai. From DMK’s Udhayanidhi Stalin to A Raja, Congress’ G Parameshwara to Priyank Kharge, and from Rashtriya Janata Dal to Samajwadi Party, the only strategy is to ‘attack Hindu beliefs and gather votes’.
