Jaipur/Udaipur (Rajasthan) – MLA Rajendra Gudha, who was ousted from his ministerial role in the Congress-led Rajasthan Government after he led a protest against Government over corruption issues, has now officially aligned himself with the Shiv Sena (Shinde Group) party. In a programme held in his hometown, Gudha formally joined the Shiv Sena (Shinde Group) in the presence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. During this event, Chief Minister Shinde criticised Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and said, “A year ago, Gehlot had stated, ‘I am Chief Minister because of Gudha’s but now he has ousted him. Whatever Gehlot has done, the public will answer to it”.

Rajendra Gudha had previously made headlines by presenting a “red diary” in the Legislative Assembly, claiming, “This diary was brought before the income tax raid at the residence of Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation Chairman Dharmendra Singh Rathore”. This revelation caused a significant uproar at the time. Gudha has consistently opened a front against the Gehlot Government regarding “red diary”. Gudha also released three pages from the “red diary,” which detailed transactions related to the Rajasthan Cricket Association elections. The BJP has consistently used the “red diary”as a central issue in its election campaigns, with leaders from Amit Shah to JP Nadda repeatedly challenging the Gehlot Government on this matter during the BJP’s “Parivartan Yatra” gatherings.
