Ratnagiri, Maharashtra – Religion forms the foundation of most nations around the world. Notably, India remains a secular country despite its diverse religious landscape. While the formation of Pakistan and Bangladesh led to the creation of Islamic Republics, the question arises – why wasn’t India declared a ‘Hindu Republic’? Constitutions typically serve the interests of the majority population in a given country, rather than the minority. In India, however, there seems to be an imbalance, with a focus on the rights of the minority and the oversight of the majority. This situation has been exploited, resulting in attacks on Hindu culture, traditions, and beliefs. These attacks manifest through various forms of jihad, including Love Jihad, Land Jihad, and Halal Jihad. The only solution to these attacks is establishing Hindu Rashtra; under which, we can prepare the Constitution taking care of the interests of Hindus, stated Mr Ramesh Shinde, the National Spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS).

‘Sakal Hindu Samaj’, Ratnagiri, organised an event at Jayesh Mangal Park to honour Mr Ramesh Shinde, during which he spoke on the topic ‘The Solution to Attacks on Hindu Dharma : Hindu Rashtra’. Mr Shinde received a shawl, a coconut, a flower bouquet, and a memento depicting a sword and shield. The esteemed industrialist, Mr Tushar Devalekar, who was the Chief Guest, presented these mementos to Mr Shinde. Other dignitaries on the dais included Mr Rakesh Nalawade (President of the Shri Shivapratishthan Hindustan for Ratnagiri District), Mr Keshav Bhat (Janajagruti Sangh), and Mr Santosh Pavari (District President of Rashtriya Sewa Samiti and Sagari Suraksha Manch).

The event commenced with the dignitaries lighting a lamp and Mr Ramesh Shinde garlanding a picture frame of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Mr Chandrakant Raul introduced Mr Shinde, and the programme was hosted by Ms Mithila Wadekar. Around 250 attendees were present, including devout Hindu activists like Abhay Dali, Omkar Rahate, Amar Keer, Deepak Deval, Prabhakar Khanavilkar, Tejas Salvi, Shubham Joshi, Vinod Gadikar, and Sanjay Joshi, among others.

This felicitation is of all people who have contributed – Ramesh Shinde

Mr Ramesh Shinde, in his response to the felicitation, expressed his surprise at being honoured for his efforts in ensuring the exit of Dr Zakir Naik from India and for leading protests against MF Hussain. He acknowledged that numerous individuals contributed to these endeavours, making the recognition a collective achievement.

Further, Mr Shinde emphasised :

His visits to States such as Tripura, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Odisha, Bengal, and Jharkhand, where the concept of Hindu Rashtra and Hindutva is unfamiliar. His appreciation for RSS volunteers operating under challenging circumstances in these regions, working tirelessly to inspire nationalism.
The various forms of jihad ongoing, including ‘Halal Jihad,’ which extends beyond meat products to economically impact the country. We buy a product from the market that has a green stamp, indicating that the product is totally vegetarian. We don’t even think about the purpose of such a stamp. There are many products, though not related to food, that have been ‘Halal’ certified. Halal Jihad is an attack on the economy of this country. He urged vigilance in supporting the national economy while making purchases.

The goal of organisations like ‘Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind’ to amass a Muslim army of 1.25 crore soldiers by 2028, from where are they getting so much money ? They have even made an ‘Islamic coin’. ‘Halal Share Market’ is also operated.

In addition, there is the problem of Love Jihad.  In the country where Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj sacrificed his life despite undergoing severe torture and didn’t change his religion; where Rani Padmini committed ‘Jauhar’ with 1600 women. Many such ‘Jauhar’ were committed, but they didn’t change their religion. The women gave up their lives for their Dharma, but how are today’s women fond of Salman Khan ? They need to know about Love Jihad and be alert for their own protection.

The necessity of facing and resolving these challenges with the determination and resilience demonstrated by historical figures like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, Swatantryaveer Savarkar, and other revolutionaries who fought for the country’s welfare.

In essence, the event aimed to honour Mr Ramesh Shinde’s contributions and shed light on the critical need for establishing a Hindu Rashtra to safeguard the essence of Hindu Dharma and culture.
