Religious fanatics attack a Hindu student’s house for replying to an anti-Hindu post of a Muslim student

Muslim student taken into custody by Police

Bareilly (UP) – A Muslim student studying in ninth standard posted some objectionable matter about Hindu Dharma on Instagram; therefore, a Hindu student posted something as a reply to that post. The matter posted by both students is not yet known; however, Muslims became angry about the Hindu student’s post and hundreds of Muslims attacked that Hindu student’s house, by pelting stones. The Muslim mob was trying to bring the Hindu student out of his house to kill him, but Police reached in time and saved him. The incident occurred on 18th August 2023, at night. Police have taken into custody the father of the Hindu student and the Muslim student. Security has been beefed up in the area.

Hundreds of Muslims gathered at the Police station and demanded action against the Hindu boy. After the Police assured them of taking necessary action, the mob charged to the Hindu boy’s house and started pelting stones when the Police reached there and brought the situation under control. The Muslim mob went back only after the Police took the Hindu boy’s father to the Police station.

Police informed that action would be taken against both the students after inquiry

The Hindu boy’s father said that Muslims were trying to terrorise Hindus. Action should be taken against his son if he has done a wrong thing.
