The bail appeal for Tanveer Ahmed rejected in the case of raping a girl and forcing her to convert

Love jihad case in Ranchi

Ranchi (Jharkhand) – Tanveer Ahmed has been arrested for raping a Hindu model and forcing her to convert. He had appealed for a bail but the Session Court in Jharkhand rejected the bail. Ahmed used to run ‘Yash Modelling Agency’ on the Kanke streets in Ranchi. A case was filed in Mumbai against him. The victim from Bhagalpur in Bihar had come in contact with Tanveer in Ranchi. Further he went to Mumbai. The complaint filed in Thane was later shifted to Ranchi.

The victim said, “I started working in Ahmed’s agency to pursue my career in modelling. I faced a lot of mental torture for one and a half year while I worked there. He raped me and misused my photographs. He started threatening me after I came to Mumbai. He even beat me up for coming to Mumbai. He wants to marry and convert me. He threatened to kill my family.”
