Muslim traders banned from entering 50 villages in Haryana

Nuh (Haryana) – After the Nuh riots, there is an ambience of fear among the Hindus in the surrounding villages. Hindus in many villages are taking measures to remain safe. Owing to this, more than 50 Gram Panchayats in 3 Districts of the State, namely, Rewari, Mahendragarh, and Jhajjar, have issued letters and barred Muslim traders from entering the village. In these letters signed by the Sarpanches of panchayats, instructions have been given that the Muslims living in the village should get their identity cards verified by the Police. After the Nuh riots, boycotting of Muslims increased. A few days ago, 14 villages banned the entry of Muslim traders. Now this number has risen to 50.

Manoj Kumar, Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Mahendragarh, said, ‘Though I have not received any letter from any Gram Panchayat, they have been circulated on social media’. He said that such an order is against the law. (Please note that the administration that fails to protect Hindus remembers the law only when Hindus take extreme steps! – Editor)

Vikas, Sarpanch of Saidpur in Mahendragarh, said that this decision had to be taken due to the violence in Nuh. In the last month, there were many incidents of theft in the village. This is also one of the reasons (for the boycott).
