Hindus demand an apology from Kerala Assembly Speaker Shamseer for his controversial statements on Hindu Deities

Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala) – There is a lot of discontent against Kerala State Assembly Speaker A N Shamseer on his controversial statements about Hindu Deities. Hindus have demanded that Shamseer should withdraw his statement and apologise for hurting their religious sentiments. Shamseer has given an explanation that he never intended to hurt the sentiments of any religion. On the other hand, the ruling Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPIM) has audaciously declared that the State Assembly Speaker Shamseer would not apologise for any of his controversial statements. CPIM’s State Secretary, M V Govindan, said to the media that there was no need to apologise for Shamseer’s statement and that whatever he said was right.

What did Shamseer say ?
Kerala State Assembly Speaker Shamseer said at a function that Bhagawan Shri Ganesh, with his elephant head, is just a myth. There is no scientific base for this belief. BJP and Vishwa Hindu Parishad are staging demonstrations against him.
