Various aspects advised by Saptarshis through the medium of H.H. (Dr) OmUlaganathan for Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale’s ‘Brahmotsav’ Celebrations

Mr Vinayak Shanbhag

Through the reading of Nadipatti Number 222 by Saptarshi Nadipatti reader H.H. (Dr) OmUlaganathan ji on 23rd February 2023, the Saptarshis advised how to celebrate Gurudev’s Birth Anniversary this year. Given ahead are the various aspects advised by Saptarshis.

1. Gurudev’s birthday in 2023should be celebrated as ‘Brahmotsav’

A. During His Janmotsav Celebrations in 2022, Gurudev was seated in a hired chariot. However, during His Birthday Celebrations in 2023, Gurudev will be seated in a wooden chariot. For this, seekers should create a beautiful wooden chariot that attracts Shri Vishnu’s Principle.

B. This Rathotsav (Chariot festival) on Earth will be witnessed from the skies by all the Deities and Sages such as Trimurti, Tridevi, various Gods and Goddesses, 88,000 Sages, Yakshas, Kinnars, Gandharvas. The Birth Anniversary of Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale will not just be a Rathotsav, but will be a real ‘Brahmotsav’ of Shri Vishnu. Gurudev’s Birthday Celebrations should be similar to that of Shri Vishnu’s ‘Brahmotsav’ celebrated in Tirupati.

C. Just as Bhudevi and Sridevi are present in Shri Vishnu’s chariot; Gurudev’s Spiritual Heirs – Shrisatshakti (Mrs) Binda Nilesh Singbal (Bhudevi’s Incarnation) and Shrichitshakti (Mrs) Anjali Mukul Gadgil (Sridevi’s Incarnation) – should also sit in the chariot.

2. Uniqueness of the date and time of the ‘Brahmotsav’

There was a dialogue between Shri Vishnu’s fourth Incarnation, Shri Nrusinha, and Shri Mahalakshmi in the assembly of all the Gods, Saptarshis and Sages. Accordingly, we have been instructed to celebrate Gurudev’s Birth Anniversary as ‘Brahmotsav’ on 11th May 2023. In Tretayug, Shri Vishnu incarnated as Shriram on the day of Navami. In Dwaparyug, Shri Vishnu incarnated as Shrikrushna on the day of Ashtami, and now, in the present phase of Kaliyug, Shri Vishnu has taken birth in the form of Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale on the day of Saptami.

Note : Gurudev’s birth constellation is Uttarashadha. Tirupati Balaji was born in the Shravan constellation. The special feature of this ‘Brahmotsav’ day is that Shashthi as well as Saptami (Sixth and seventh day of Lunar fortnight) have come together; the time of Gurudev’s Uttarashadha Birth constellation has ended and Tirupati Balaji’s Shravan constellation has started. Shri Nrusinha and Shri Mahalakshmi have instructed – ‘When Vaishakha Krushna Saptami is the tithi and the period of Shravan constellation is about to begin, the ‘Brahmotsav’ of the Incarnation of Shri Vishnu – Gurudev – should be celebrated’.

Note : For many years I thought that my birthday is on Shashti. Since the time Maharshi has told me, my birthday is being celebrated on Saptami. – Dr Jayant Athavale

3. What should be the dress colour of the three Gurus during the ‘Brahmotsav’ ?

Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Jayant Balaji Athavale should wear saffron silk attire, like the hue of the rising sun. Shrisatshakti (Mrs) Binda Nilesh Singbal should wear a green silk saree (associated with Bhudevi) and Shrichitshakti (Mrs) Anjali Mukul Gadgil should wear a yellow silk saree (associated with Sridevi).

4. Science underlying the wearing of silk clothes

Silk threads are associated with the planet Venus, signifying success, prosperity and fame. The silk thread is ‘Lakshmikataksha’, meaning, the one who looks at a silk garment gets the blessings of Shri Mahalakshmi. Hence, the practice of dressing Idols of Deities with silk.

5. Hanuman, Garuda and Adishesh were subtly present at the venue to protect it

During Shri Vishnu’s Incarnation as Shriram, Deity Shiva came to help in the mission of instating Dharma in the form of Deity Hanuman; during Shri Vishnu’s Incarnation as Shrikrushna, Chiranjeev Hanuman sat on Arjun’s chariot during the battle of Mahabharat. In a similar manner, Deity Hanuman will be present in the subtle near the flag on the chariot of Gurudev, who is an Incarnation of Shri Vishnu. Garuda and Adisesha have been guarding the ‘Brahmotsav’ venue in Goa where Shri Vishnu’s chariot is going to move. Garuda and Adishesh are the first to be present at the venue. Garuda has subtly spread its wings over the entire venue so that the shadow of negative energies does not fall over it.

6. All the seekers will get God’s blessings since they have had the Darshan of Shri Vishnu along with Bhudevi and Sridevi to their heart’s content

Shri Vishnu’s chariot is the auspicious Moksharath. This is the golden chariot of God who has descended from Vaikuntha on Earth in human form for the sake of His devotees. Darshan of Shri Vishnu along with Bhudevi and Sridevi will eliminate all the illnesses, grief, pain, possession by ghosts-demons, poverty, disease, sorrow and suffering of devotees due to unfavourable planetary positions in their horoscope.

Over the years, seekers have endured various kinds of sufferings due to negative energies. To eliminate all these distresses and bless the seekers, Gurudev is going to give them Darshan in His chariot. All the seekers will get God’s blessings as they have an emotionally charged Darshan of Shri Vishnu along with Bhudevi and Sridevi.

Tirupati Balaji’s ‘Brahmotsav’

Shri Vishnu appreciates Celebrations; hence, for the past 1,000 years, Celebrations are being held in Deity Shri Venkateswara’s Temple annually in Tirupati, along with Bhudevi and Sridevi. This 9-day festival is called ‘Brahmotsav’, in which Shri Vishnu along with Bhudevi and Sridevi are mounted on the Suvarnaratha (Golden chariot). The tradition of celebrating ‘Brahmotsav’ came into existence so that all devotees get their Darshan. The word Brahma in ‘Brahmotsav’ means Supreme; hence, ‘Brahmotsav’ is the supreme-most and superior festival among all the festivals of Shri Vishnu.

Individual spiritual experiences of seekers published in SanatanPrabhat are according to the Principle – ‘Where there is bhav (Spiritual emotion), there is God’. It is not that every individual will have similar experiences.
Seeing, hearing in the subtle, etc. (Receiving knowledge through the five subtle sense organs) : The subtle vision of some seekers is awakened; meaning, they can perceive what the physical eyes cannot see; some seekers can hear sounds or words in the subtle.
