Ram was an imaginary figure while the Ramjanmabhoomi is unscientific !

Infuriating claim by Kannada actor Chetan Kumar

Bengaluru (Karnataka) – Recently actor Chetan Kumar had claimed that ‘Tirupati Temple was constructed on a demolished Buddhist temple’. He created a new controversy by claiming in an interview that, ‘Ram is an imaginary figure and calling a place as the birthplace of Ram is unscientific’. Chetan was earlier arrested for posting a derogatory comment that ‘Hindutva is built on lies’. (It is clear that Chetan habitually makes statements against the Hindu Dharma. Such people should face trial in a Fast-Track Court and should be given life imprisonment ! Hindus, on account of their extreme tolerance, ignore such people and remain inactive – Editor)

Chetan argued,

1. It is wrong to say that the Ram was born exactly at the ‘Ramjanmabhoomi’ (birthplace of Ram). Ram, Krushna, Ganesh exist in people’s faith. Similarly, Allah is also a matter of faith. Maramma, Yallamma are all unscientific. To call something scientific, historical proofs should exist. Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha, Ambedkar, Jyotiba Phule, Ashoka and Akbar are all scientific because they lived in the past. (Some foreign researchers claim that Jesus never existed. What does Chetan have to say about it ? – Editor) Those who did not, are all imaginary characters based on faith. (There are thousands like Chetan who do not believe in the unseen and believe only what can be seen; but there are billions who believe in the unseen god. Hence, people like Chetan are petty – Editor)

2. Answering to a journalist who claimed that ‘Proofs exist to authenticate Ramayan’, Chetan said, ‘Those proofs are unscientific. Has any research centre supported these proofs ? Has anyone been there during that time ? When did Dwaparyug, Tretayug, Kaliyug exist ? All this is just imaginary. Buddha existed 2,500 years ago. The vedic period started when Aryans came to India 3,500 years ago and Hindu Dharma, Chaturvarnya (the four Varnas) etc. emerged since then. This has been proved’.

3. Hindu is not a religion. Outsiders who came to India in 6th century BC, named this land as ‘Hindustan region’ based on its geography. Hindutva and Hindu Rashtra were conceptualised by Savarkar 100 years ago. (It has been proven that the word ‘Hindu’ exists in religious scriptures. It is laughable to keep repeating this illogic ! – Editor)

Editorial viewpoint

Chetan would only receive ill fame by making such statements and that is exactly what he wants ! Chetan knows what might happen if he hurts religious sentiments of non-Hindus. Hence, he would never dare to speak against them.
