The Press note of the Meeting said,
1. There should not be haste in taking a decision about same-sex marriages. The country is facing various issues in the social and economic sectors. This includes the eradication of poverty, free education, the right to a pollution-free environment, population control, etc.
2. Indian culture does not accept same-sex marriages.
