More than 360 Hindu Samadhis were destroyed by Congress’ Muslim MLA in Bengaluru

The samadhis were destroyed while doing illegal construction on the cremation ground

Bengaluru – There are 4 cremation grounds in Ward No 136 of J.J.Nagar. Hindu organisations are alleging that Congress’ Local MLA Zahmeer Ahmad and Altaf Khan husband of Congress’ former Corporator Seema Altaf Khan have together destroyed more than 360 Hindu samadhis in this area. A Congress Corporator has been elected in J.J.R Nagar ward.

S Bhaskaran of the RTI said, ‘the Bangalore Municipal Corporation’s building has been illegally built on the cremation ground. For this, more than 360 graves have been destroyed. A complaint has been filed about this in November. On the 3^rd of March, the Lokayukta officers were given a petition to inspect this matter. And the Home Secretary was given a petition to investigate this case. Despite this nothing has been done to date. (What is the use of an Administration that throws the application in the dustbin ? – Editor) A demand has been made that strict action be taken against those who are involved in this case. (Basically, why does one need to make such a demand ? Does the Government not realise these things ? – Editor)
