Mathura (UP) – The Mathura District Court has dismissed the Hindu litigant’s plea seeking an early survey of the Shahi Eidgah Masjid, the birthplace of Shrikrushna. On this occasion, a representative of the Hindu Mahasabha, the Hindu litigant, was present with an image of Laddu Gopal (Shrikrushna), while the Court said that it has given Sunni Waqf Board a last chance as nobody turned up to represent the latter despite repeated calls to remain present.
Abhishek Pandey, the ADJ (court no. 6), Mathura, found no substance in the revision filed by the Hindu petitioners

During the hearing held on 27th March, Mahasabha treasurer Dinesh Sharma told the Court that Aurangzeb demolished the temple and built the Shahi Eidgah mosque. Therefore, this mosque is an encroachment on the land of Shrikrushna’s birthplace. We demand the removal of the Shahi Eidgah Mosque located on 13.37 acres land.
A total of 6 petitions have been filed in this case and the next hearing will be held on 28th April.
Basically, the Session Court has opposed the survey of the mosque. At present, the hearing has not been completed. Therefore, the Mathura Court held that we need not interfere in the matter of conducting the survey.
Mahendra Pratap Singh, president of Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Mukti Nyas, had filed a petition seeking the appointment of a judicial commissioner. They said that the opposition party is destroying the remains of the temple.
