Pakistani Govt officials stole 40,000 tons of wheat sent by Russia as humanitarian aid

Islamabad – Pakistani officials have stolen 40,000 tons of wheat sent to Pakistan by Russia in response to the financial crisis. Pakistan suspended 67 officers following an inquiry and issued them show cause notices. Pakistani people are protesting because there is a lack of grains, and many people are starving. In such a situation, a wave of anger has spread among the public as Government employees stole the wheat sent as aid to the citizens.
