Minister for Finance and Revenue Ishaq Dar

Islamabad (Pakistan) – Minister for Finance and Revenue Ishaq Dar said, “I believe in transparency and fiscal discipline… Let me assure you that nobody is (ready) to compromise on the nuclear or missile programme of Pakistan. No way.”

He was speaking about borrowing from the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Any agreement reached with the Mint will be uploaded on the Government website. People can see it. Pakistan’s Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said that the question of compromising the nuclear programme does not arise, in response to a question by MP Raza Rabbani in Parliament. “We represent the people of Pakistan and we have to guard our national interests,” he added further.

Editorial viewpoint

It has become difficult for the Pakistani people to have a single meal; but the rulers there want nuclear bomb. People are not against it either. This shows their true mentality. Helping such people is like committing suicide !
