Mehbooba Mufti offers Jal Abhishek on Shivalinga !

Poonch (Jammu-Kashmir) – Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and PDP party chief Mehbooba Mufti visited the Navagraha Temple here and performed ‘Jal Abhishek’ (offering water) on the Shivalinga and performed puja. A statue of Yashpal Sharma, who built this temple, has been installed here. She also paid tribute to him by offering flowers.

In this case, BJP’s State Spokesperson Ranbir Singh has criticised and said that Mehbooba Mufti is doing drama. Mehbooba and his party had opposed the allotment of land to ‘Amarnath Shrine Board’ in 2008.

Temporary tents were to be erected on this land for the pilgrims, but Mehbooba refused to transfer the land to the board for a temporary period. Nothing will be achieved by this drama of ‘Jal Abhishek’(offering water). If such drama could have brought any change, the State would have been prosperous.

This is the result of secularists and progressives not giving them a dose of secularism ! Will they be given this dose now ? Or only Hindus should suffer by following secularism ?

Mehbooba Mufti has also been opposed by Deoband (Islamic organisation). Maulana Asad Qasmi of Deoband said that what Mehbooba did is inappropriate. It is against Islam.

Mehbooba Mufti will not be allowed to go to the mosque and offer namaz, but she can easily go to a Hindu temple and perform ‘Jal Abhishek’. Will the secularists and progressives take note of this ?
Hindus think that Mehbooba Mufti should now take initiative to restore Hindu temples demolished and captured by Jihadi terrorists in the State and return them to Hindus !
