Jaipur (Rajasthan) – Ashok Gehlot, Chief Minister of Rajasthan read the old Budget for 7 minutes. The opposition started laughing after having realised the mistake. He was finally stopped by Congress minister Mahesh Joshi. Gehlot asked for forgiveness for that mistake from the House.

Soon, the opposition created an uproar and sat in the well of the Rajasthan Assembly over Gehlot’s error, leading to the House being adjourned for 30 minutes. This is the first time in the history of State Legislative Assembly that a wrong budget has been read out.
It is said that the bag in which the new Budget should have been put, old one was kept. (Although the officers committed the mistake, yet CM failed in his alertness. – Editor) It is said that Gehlot has directed the finance secretary to look into the mis-printing.
