Shimla –The Vidhan Sabha elections in Himachal Pradesh will be soon taking place after Gujarat. On that background, BJP has given the assurance to implement the Uniform Civil Code in Himachal Pradesh. In Gujarat, a committee has been appointed for the implementation of this law.

The Gujarat Home Minister Harsh Sanghavi had given some information about the same a few days ago. Most of the States where BJP is in rule, have supported this law.
