Lakhimpur Kheri (UP) – A Hindu girl was beaten to death in the Muslim-majority Musepur village in UP. Police have arrested Salimuddin and Asif Ali in this case. The victim was beaten up on 12th September.

She was injured in this incident and died on 16th September while undergoing treatment. Police Sub-Inspector Sunil Kumar has been suspended for negligence in this case. (Not only should such officials be suspended, but they should be sacked and put behind bars ! – Editor) Currently, Police personnel have been deployed in the village.
