India’s 76th Independence Day celebrated with enthusiasm
New Delhi – Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation from the Red Fort on the occasion of India’s 76th Independence Day. ‘We should focus on our strengths. The country will henceforth move forward with ‘Panchaprana’ (5 life energies) and big resolutions. India should be identified as a developed nation. This is the first prana. The second is the elimination of slavery. One should achieve freedom from slavery. The third prana is that we should be proud of our heritage. It is our heritage to let go of the outdated and embrace the new. The fourth prana is very important. It is unity and solidarity. 130 crore people need to remain united. Solidarity is the fourth prana for the dream of One India Great India. The fifth prana is the duty of citizens. This also includes Prime Minister and Chief Minister. This is a very important life force to fulfill the resolutions of the next 25 years’, Prime Minister asserted. In this speech, he also mentioned the extension of the ‘National Health Mission’ under the new name of ‘PM Samagra Swasthya Mission’, and also remembered Mahatma Gandhi, Nehru, and Savarkar. Some important points mentioned by Prime Minister Modi in his speech
People should support the fight against corruption !
Corruption in the country will not end until there is resentment towards the corrupt. People should join hands in the fight against corruption and also end nepotism in politics and various institutions. Some people in India are struggling with poverty. Some people don’t have a house to live in, while others don’t have a place to hide their stolen wealth. This is inappropriate. This is why we have to fight against corruption. By using modern systems like Aadhaar Card, mobile phones, we have been able to save ₹2 Lakh Crore from going into wrong hands. Attempts are being made to bring back those who ran away after duping banks during the previous Government’s tenure, confiscating their assets. Some people have been jailed. We are creating a situation where people who have looted the country will have to return that ill-gotten wealth.
Let’s get rid of things that humiliate women !
Only if boys and girls are equal, the foundation of unity can be laid in the home. Equality of men and women is the first condition of unity. India is a mantra of unity. However, due to some reason or the other, a perversion has arisen in us. We insult women. Today we must resolve to free ourselves from everything that humiliates women in our day-to-day lives with the laws of nature.
Take the responsibility of fulfilling all the dreams of freedom lovers !
I think we should focus on our resolutions for the next 25 years. When 100 years of Independence will be completed in 2047, we must take responsibility to fulfil all the dreams of freedom lovers by then.
..Still, India kept moving forward !
On 14th August, India also celebrated ‘Partition Horror Memorial Day’ remembering the wounds of the heart. Because of the countrymen’s love for India, everyone endured joys and sorrows. Our journey of 75 years has been full of ups and downs. The shadow of happiness and sadness is hovering. Even in such circumstances our countrymen tried and achieved. Hundreds of years of slavery have left deep wounds. When freedom was granted, the countrymen were being terrorised. The country was threatened with division, but this is India. We faced a food crisis and became victims of war, terrorist attacks, and natural calamities, but still, India kept moving forward.
