A Christian family had taken possession of the Valmiki temple located close to the well-known Anarkali Bazaar in Lahore. The Christian family claims to have converted to Hindu Dharma. Now the temple is going to be renovated as the Hindus have got the possession.
In 1992, a vengeful crowd carrying guns broke into the Valmiki Temple in India following the destruction of the Babri Masjid. They destroyed the Idols of the Deities too.
