Stones were pelted at the Police while arresting the religious fanatic accused responsible for riots in Delhi

Accused  religious fanatic Sanwar Malik alias Akbar alias Kaliya with Police

New Delhi – When Delhi Police Crime Branch had gone in the Jahangirpuri area on 16^th April to arrest the accused, Sanwar Malik alias Akbar alias Kaliya who had run away, local Muslims pelted stones at them. One constable was injured. Yet the Police managed to arrest Akbar.

A reward of Rs 25,000 was declared by the Police on his arrest. 8 Police had been injured in that riot. 3 minor boys along with 35 have been arrested in this case so far.

Editorial viewpoint

Stone pelting and similar attacks on the Police are very common in Muslim majority areas. However, the so-called secular and progressives (Regressive) never utter a word in that regard.
