New Delhi: Taslima Nasreen, an author of Bangladeshi origin has taken asylum in India. She stated that she loves India because a Muslim, Sikh, tribal, atheist, or woman can become president or head of the state. No other country can become as liberal as India.
I love India because a Muslim, a Sikh, a Dalit, a Woman, an Atheist, or a Tribal person can be India’s president or head of the state. Many civilized and liberal countries can not be so liberal.
