The threat of attack on the Kanwar pilgrims by the Jihadis !
New Delhi – The Ministry of Home Affairs has instructed the State Governments to be alert as there are chances of an attack on the Kanwar pilgrims by the Jihadis. This instruction has been given to Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, etc and orders to tighten the security of the Kanwar pilgrims have been issued. The Railway Board has also been instructed to tighten security on trains in view of the threat.
The Ministry of Home Affairs MHA has directed state governments to beef up security for Kanwariyas, citing threat from radical elements, sources said.
