Foreign funded NGOs working to tarnish image of the country : Intelligence Bureau

Report submitted to PMO !

New Delhi – The Intelligence Bureau (IB) has submitted a report to the Prime Minister’s Office regarding foreign-funded NGOs, which it said were hampering the country’s economic development. Funds are sent from the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and Denmark. As a result, GDP is declining by 2-3 per cent per annum.

The report further states that in order to tarnish India’s image on the global platform, caste, human rights violations and other reasons have been cited so far. But now foreign organisations are sending money to India to obstruct development work under the pretext of sending funds for social work. The funds are being used to taint India’s image by creating a negative atmosphere against India through NGOs.

Medha Patkar, head of Narmada Bachao Andolan and a so-called social activist

Bhopal (MP) – Medha Patkar, head of Narmada Bachao Andolan and a so-called social activist, has been accused of embezzling crores of rupees. Police have registered a case against Patkar and her 11 accomplices. Patkar’s NGO ‘Narmada Navnirman Abhiyan’ misused funds received for 84 social works and education of tribal children. These funds were used to protest against various development schemes of the Government.

According to complainant Pritam Badole, Patkar’s NGO has received ₹13-14 crore in the last few years, but no account of it has been reported. Badole told the media that Patkar’s NGO is said to have run a school called ‘Jeevanshala’ in the Nandurbar District of Maharashtra, but no such school exists.

Medha Patkar’s explanation

Rejecting all the allegations, Patkar said, ‘We have all the accounts report up to date’. Jeevanshala has been operating for the last 30 years. We are ready to fight a Court battle.

Editorial Viewpoint

All such NGOs are nothing but treasonous ! They should be banned by revoking their licenses, and strict action should be taken against the trustees, officers and employees concerned !
