Spontaneous response to call of ‘bandh’ in many districts of Rajasthan
Udaipur (Rajasthan) – Hindus came out in a ‘morcha’ to protest against Kanhaiyalal’s murder in Udaipur. Some youth after the completion of the ‘morcha’ at Delhi Gate resorted to stone-throwing. They dispersed only after the Police lathi-charged. Hindus had given a call for a ‘Bandh’ to condemn this ghastly act in the State’s numerous districts like Jaipur, Udaipur, Pali, Kota, Jalore, and Jaisalmer. The traders backed this call. Hence this ‘bandh’ got a spontaneous response.

Ashok Gehlot, the Chief Minister of Rajasthan declared to give Kanhaiyalal’s family financial assistance of Rupees 50 lakh and Government jobs for both his sons. Chief Minister Gehlot is going to meet Kanhaiyalal’s family.
