Therefore Maldives Government is going to pass an Act to take strict action against such people. The information was received from the Attorney General’s Office.
A law is being prepared in that regard. In that to cause insult or change foreign or National flag, destroy foreign institution or give a call to do so, to harass foreigners or compelling them to leave the Maldives will be an offence.
