Prayagraj (UP) – A Hindu Transgender’s mother has alleged that a Muslim Transgender converted her son, a Transgender, with the assistance of a Maulavi. A crime has been registered against this with the Police, and Police are making inquiries in this regard. Many other Transgenders had gathered outside the Police station.

1. The Transgender’s name is Pankaj. A Muslim Transgender gave him a spiked drink and harassed him physically and mentally. When Pankaj tried to run away from there, he was alleged to have committed theft and a crime was registered against him with the Police.
2. Transgender Kalyan Board has intervened in this case and has registered a complaint with the Police in this regard. Vaishnavinand Giri said while making a demand that the accused (The one who converted Pankaj) should be dealt with severely.
