Devout Hindus must take efforts to preserve the ancient glory of Hindu temples : Advocate Sushil Atre, Senior Advocate, Jalgaon
Hampi – Speaking on the plan to rebuild the city of destroyed temples, Advocate Sushil Atre from Jalgaon said, ‘The idea of Hindu Rashtra is not new to India. Many Hindu empires have been established here in the past. One of them is the kingdom of Vijayanagar ! This Vijayanagara Empire was sovereign and powerful. Our sages have already had a resolution on such a Hindu empire; but due to the apathy of Hindus, we could not maintain that glory. This is the fault of Hindus. Many temples have been built by the then kings of the Vijayanagara Empire, especially Krishnadevaray. According to historical records, there were more than 300 magnificent ports in this kingdom. A large portion of the earnings was spent on the construction of temples, but today the condition of these temples is very poor. These temples are now under the ambit of the Archaeological Survey of India, but due to the extreme apathy and ignorance of this department, there is no improvement in the temples. If these temples are to be rebuilt, the existing anti-Hindu laws will have to be changed. Expert Hindu devotees should be ready to contribute in the future to preserve the original form of temples without constructing them in a modern way’.
If the Police refuse to take action against the unauthorised loudspeakers, then file a case in the Court : Advocate Nilesh Sangolkar, Organiser, Hindu Legislative Council
If others are getting harassed due to religious customs, it is a violation of the religious rights enshrined in the Constitution, the Supreme Court has ruled in the case of loudspeakers at religious places. The Constitution gives everyone the right to live. If your area is plagued by the noise of illegal loudspeakers, lodge a complaint with Police. Police immediately give notice to Hindus during Hindu festivals, but the same Police fail to take any action even after filing a complaint against the round-the-year loudspeaker noise. Therefore, if the Police refuse to take action in such cases, then file a case in the Court against them.
