
Islamabad (Pakistan) – A report has been published on the Pakistani news channels that due to the pressure of the US, Pakistan has become ready to support India for getting a permanent membership in the UNSC. Recently, Pakistan has officially rejected this claim. Pakistan said that recently Pakistani Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has visited the US. That time, he had a talk with the US Foreign Minister but there was no discussion on the UNSC membership of India.

For a few years, India, Brazil, Germany, South Africa and Japan are trying to become permanent members of the UNSC. These countries say that on the basis of population, area and economy, they are counted among the big countries in the world. Hence, they have the right to get permanent membership.
