Had Congress accepted Veer Savarkar’s words, the country would not have been divided : Yogi Adityanath

Lucknow (UP) – Congress left no stone unturned in insulting a revolutionary, writer, philosopher, and poet like Swatantryaveer Savarkar said Adityanath. Before Independence, the Britishers tried to insult the national hero Swatantryaveer Savarkar and so did Congress in the post-independence period.At that time, there was no one greater than Swatantryaveer Savarkar.

Veer Savarkar did not get the respect he deserved. Had Congress accepted Swatantryaveer Savarkar’s words, the country would not have been divided, stated the UP CM Yogi Adityanath. Adityanath was addressing a programme held to mark the birth anniversary of Swatantryaveer Savarkar. The book written by Uday Mahurkar and Chirayu Pandit ‘Savarkar who could have stopped the partition of India and his perspective of National security’ was released during the programme. Yogi Adityanath also mentioned that Swatantryaveer Savarkar had said that Pakistan cannot be a reality, but India will always be there. He also added that the word ‘Hindutva’ has been given by Swatantryaveer Savarkar to the country.
