Islamabad (Pakistan) – On the 3rd of December 2021, a Sri Lankan citizen Priyantha Kumara was lynched, beaten, killed, and later, set on fire by the mob in Sialkot, accusing him of insulting Prophet Mohammad. The Court has charged 89 people as guilty in this case.

Six individuals among them have been sentenced to death, while 7 individuals have been sentenced to life imprisonment. Priyantha Kumara was an officer working in a local factory.
