Ministry of External Affairs, Arindam Bagchi

New Delhi – In a meeting held recently of Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Islamabad, Pakistan the Kashmir Issue was also discussed. Giving the reference of the so-called Human Rights violations, OIC said that Kashmiris should get the right to self-determination. India slammed OIC for resorting to falsehood and misrepresentation; it has also warned Muslim countries not to dance to the tune of Pakistan. Spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs, Arindam Bagchi stated on his official Twitter account.

India has said in its representation that the statements and resolutions adopted at the meeting with regard to Kashmir, demonstrate both the irrelevance of the Kashmir Issue and the stronghold of Pakistan on OIC. The reference to India in OIC is based on falsehood. Minority rights are repeatedly violated in Pakistan. The representatives of Muslim member countries of OIC making a statement with regard to minorities in India based on Pakistan’s comment is foolish.
