It was on 23rd March 1940, that the “All India Muslim League” had demanded an independent nation for Muslims of India. Since then, this day is celebrated as ‘Pakistan Day’ in Pakistan.

President Alvi further said, we expect peace from everyone and we respect the sovereignty of others, but we shall never compromise on our Independence.
