Pope’s emotional call, after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine
Vatican City – Pope Francis once again condemned Russia’s aggression of Ukraine. ‘Bombing children’s hospital and other civilian places’ is a barbaric act. ‘In the name of God, stop this massacre’ said the Pope.

“The only thing to do is stop this unacceptable armed aggression before it reduces cities into cemeteries,” Francis said. He called Ukraine’s besieged port of Mariupol a “martyred city” and again appealed for “truly secure humanitarian corridors” to allow residents to evacuate.
