Kyiv (Ukraine) – Russia attacked Ukraine 15 days ago. Youth from foreign countries are coming forward to help Ukraine in fighting this invasion; an Indian youth is among them according to ‘The Kyiv Independent’.
Sainikhesh Ravichandran (21) is a resident of Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu. He had gone to Ukraine for studying. Sainikhesh had earlier unsuccessfully tried to join the Indian Army.
Sainikhesh lost contact with his family because of the war. The family requested help about Sainikhesh from the Indian embassy. Sainikhesh informed his parents that he had joined the Ukrainian Army. When Indian Army officers contacted them, this information was revealed.

Ukraine Army establishes an ‘International armed force’
Ukrainian Army has set up an International Army Unit in which youths from Mexico, the USA, Britain, Sweden and other countries have joined voluntarily. According to the Ukraine Defence Ministry, thousands of foreigners have expressed their desire to join Ukrainian Army to fight in the war.
