As per the information received, the Headmistress gave the permission to offer namaz in the classroom, so that children would remain in the school and not go out. The school was closed for the last 2 months due to lockdown restrictions on account of coronavirus.
The Headmistress said that she had not given permission, students offered namaz on their own, as she was not in the school when this incident had happened. She said further that when Education Officer informed her on the phone, she had stopped the children thereafter.
