New Delhi – Rajnath Singh had worshipped newly arrived Rafale aircraft in France. At that time, his act was mocked by some people. Now, France has given Greece four Rafale aircraft. The convoy of aircraft was worshipped by Greek religious priests. The video has gone viral on social media. In this video, two religious priests are seen worshipping Rafale. They also sprayed the holy water on aircraft and blessed the pilots. People had gathered in large numbers to witness the ceremony. The pilots were seen kissing the hands of the religious leaders. Further, the holy water was sprayed on the pilots as well.

Rajnath Singh had performed ritualistic worship of the 36 Rafale aircraft when these aircraft were handed over to India. He applied chandan and showered flowers as per Hindu traditions. He had also placed lemons under the wheels and offered coconut. Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge had called this a drama. NCP leader Sharad Pawar had compared Singh with a truck driver who hangs a lemon and chillies for protection.
