Participation of Sanatan Sanstha in the special programme ‘One Humanity Many Paths’ organised at Mangaluru (Karnataka)

Mangaluru (Karnataka) – On 12th January, a special programme ‘One Humanity Many Paths’ was organised in the ‘Mahatma Gandhi Centenary P. U College’ at Bondel in Mangaluru (Karnataka). In this programme, Mrs Laxmi Pai of Sanatan Sanstha was invited as the representative of Hindu Dharma. Gonsalves, the father of the Bondel church, was the representative of Christians and Shamshad was present as the representative of Islam.

While addressing the audience, Mrs Laxmi Pai said that Hindu Dharma is timeless and endless. ‘This whole world is my family’, this Great thought has been given by Hindu Dharma to the world. ‘सर्वेऽत्र सुखिनः सन्तु सर्वे सन्तु निरामयाः । सर्वे भद्राणि पश्यन्तु मा कश्चिद् दुःखमाप्नुयात् ।। (O’ God ! May all the living beings be happy. May everyone be healthy. May everyone do good to others. May no one face sorrows) This has been the prayer by ancient India’s Sages and Munis. Holy land India has always been the one that gave shelter to all religions. Everyone should perform the duties of Dharma and develop a pure society. This is the need of the hour !
The representatives Christian and Islam expressed their thoughts. Approximately 400 students were present for the programme.
